Compost and Soils 2016

Before every big rain the compost is covered. This keeps it from getting too wet, drowning the microbes and makes it available for sale.

On 3/3/2016 before covering the pile, we added 25 gallons of Wood ash and Biochar. Another 20 gallons will be added after the next turning.

The dogs make sure we've left nothing uncovered. Some of this compost is in our new pile. Click here to see the video.
