Grow Your Own! There is little else as satisfying, as growing your own food. Here are some pictures of the tomatoes we grew last year in our new row. These tomatoes were grown in our Premium Organic Compost. This material is unscreened and 4 years old. It contains Bio-char as part of the natural process we used in making it. There are limited quantities available. See pricing below.

Having the tomato plants growing against the home made wire fence really worked out well.

Tying the plants up with natural soft string was a great idea!

The plants are only 2 feet apart.

They totally grew into each other.

I mulched the beds with about 2 inches of  partially composted chipped mulch.

Some folks like to cut back the foliage hard, but I only cut out the leaves and stems that were browning. I had no problems with fungus or mildew.

Having the top wire at 8 feet gave plenty of room for the plants to grow up ^.

There were several of these little Green Spiders throughout the garden.  It was fascinating watching them stalk their prey.

Growing big tomatoes like this can be done organically.
