Vertical Mulching

Vertical Mulching is the application of organic matter into the soil by means of bored holes.   

Soil Types vary from one place to the next, in  Athens, Georgia we find lots of clay and little organic matter.  This is when Vertical Mulching can be most beneficial to Trees, Shrubs and the Watershed.
